Joyful Support is a three-step tool for giving and receiving support. The steps are Story (name what's happening), Joy (find what's still good, even if it's tiny), and Step (identify one small thing to move forward). You can use them in any order, at any time — with a friend, in your own head, or in a Joy Circle. This isn't therapy. It's friendship with intention.

Encouragement and accountability without the guilt
Joy can be microscopic. It doesn't have to fix anything or relate to your story at all. "My coffee was hot" counts. The goal is to notice even the tiniest thing that's still working — not to perform positivity.
Both work. You can run through the steps in your own head, journal with them, or use them out loud with someone you trust. The tool is just as useful solo as it is with a friend.
